- Coastal Region
- The Coastal Region includes the winegrowing districts and wards of Cape Point, Constantia, Darling, Paarl, the Swartland, Stellenbosch, Tygerberg and Tulbagh. Also within the geographic area is the stand-alone ward of Ceres.
- Breede River Valley Region

The Breede River Valley Region comprises the winegrowing districts of Breedekloof, Worcester, Robertson and Swellendam.
- Olifants River Region

The Olifants River Region includes the winegrowing districts of Lutzville Valley, Citrusdal Valley and Citrusdal Mountain. Also within the geographic area is the stand-alone ward of Cederberg.
- Klein Karoo Region

The Klein Karoo Region includes the winegrowing districts of Calitzdorp and Langeberg-Garcia, and the Upper Langkloof ward.
- Overberg District

The Overberg area includes the winegrowing districts of the Overberg with its Elgin and Klein River wards, Walker Bay with its wards of Hemel-en-Aarde Valley and Upper Hemel-en Aarde Valley, and Cape Agulhas, with its ward of Elim.
- Orange River

The Northern Cape area includes the Hartswater and Lower Orange wards.
