Wine Extravaganza at Stellenbosch's premium Wine Festival
Time for winelovers to get ready for the ultimate wine bash in the Cape Winelands - the Stellenbosch Wine Festival takes place from 31 July to 3 August at the Paul Roos Centre in Stellenbosch. This year's festival promises an extra-special line-up and the premium fest of all wine feasts.
Every year the Stellenbosch Wine Festival plays host to thousands of local and international visitors - experiencing a wonderful weekend with supreme wine indulgence. With more than 500 wines to taste, you will be sure to stock up on your own year's supply till next year's festival. Guest will have the opportunity to do comparative varietal tastings, meet with their favourite winemakers and explore the culinary fusion of leading chefs.
Some of the programme highlights include the first ever Wine Connoiseurs Evening on Thursday night, fashion shows, cabaret productions by the dazzling Amanda Strydom and much more fun-filled activities. Not forgetting the kids, the Festival Café will offer great entertainment for the young ones on Family Day on Sunday while the parents taste Stellenbosch's finest wines.
Tickets for the wine festival are available at Computicket, ranging from R100 to R350 per person. The exclusive Wine Connoiseurs Evening costs R250 per person, which includes snacks and food vouchers and will take place from 17h00 till 21h00.
